Position : Director of Finance

Schedule : Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Location : Holy Spirit Retirement Home, serving our Retirement Home and Foundation

About Us :

Holy Spirit Retirement Home, a nonprofit, faith-based organization, has been providing exceptional care since the 1960s. We're currently seeking an experienced Director of Finance to oversee our financial operations.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage treasury, accounting, and budgeting for the Retirement Home and Foundation.
  • Supervise accounts receivable / payable and resident billing.
  • Prepare audit workpapers and ensure accounting controls.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and compliance reporting.
  • Issue financial statements and annual budgets for board review.
  • Coordinate annual reports and Foundation contributions.
  • Support special projects and organizational needs.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (required), 5-7 years' experience (medical environment preferred).
  • Strong expertise in general ledger, payroll, auditing, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Valid driver’s license and occasional evening / weekend availability.
