Holy Trinity is seeking an experienced and passionate teacher or Long-term substitute for our Academy Language Arts (5th-8th grade) for the 2024-25 school year. This position also has the possibility of teaching grade-level Religion in their homeroom. We challenge our students with higher-level classical literature to prepare them for high school and beyond. The ideal candidate for this position will have a background in teaching English language arts, be able to create engaging lesson plans, and have a strong commitment to helping students succeed. Salary is dependent on teaching experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Encourage student participation in class discussions and activities.
- Utilize technology to enhance instruction.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Provide guidance to students on writing assignments and other language arts related tasks.
Salary : $32,000 - $40,000
