Custodial Staff
A position established for the purpose and responsibility of keeping centers clean and safe for children, families, staff, and visitors and to comply with Head Start Performance Standards for facilities and child health and safety.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
- Experience in sanitation and safety procedures and general repair required.
- Minimum of one year of responsible experience in custodial work required.
Skills
- Ability to understand instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to problem solve within the scope of custodial responsibilities.
- Ability and willingness to work as a team member.
- A strong commitment to quality Head Start and childcare programs.
- Ability to maintain and adhere to boundary guidelines and maintain confidentiality.
- Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 119, Section 51A you are a mandated reporter and held to the statutory reporting requirements.
Starting Pay: $18.09 per hour
Part-Time: 20 hours per week
Full Year: 52 weeks per year
