Position Summary:
Works under the supervision of the Licensed Nurse. Performs secretarial and receptionist duties and functions as the focal communication source on the nursing unit. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Work Experience and Licensure
· High School graduate or GED required.
· Medical Terminology course preferred (or sufficient experience in the health field to provide general understanding and usage).
· Licensure: None required
· Medical secretarial background with typing and computer skills required.
