Overview

We’re looking for outgoing individuals who want the opportunity to make someone’s day…..EVERYDAY! As part of our Breakfast team, you’ll help us inspire both our team and our guests to achieve greatness by welcoming them to our breakfast area, cooking and restocking breakfast items, and ensuring a clean and comfortable breakfast atmosphere. Our Complimentary Breakfast is sometimes the guest’s last interaction at our hotel, we want to make sure every guest has an experience they can’t wait to share with their friends!

A Typical Day as a Sunrise Server

We strive to provide the ultimate experience for every guest in our care—whether individual business travelers, friends on an overdue getaway, or families navigating a road trip. Our guests deserve a “yes and” experience:

• Preparing and Serving Everything beautiful, safe, and appealing through the breakfast display, seating area and kitchen. You’ll also use our KAJ Breakfast Checklist which takes the guesswork out of the details, with ample time to deliver plenty of “yes and” moments to our guests.
• Setting the Scene (and Making it Disappear) Each event and guest interaction requires the setup and logistical preparation to execute on guests’ behalf. You’ll follow established process, design, and layouts to ensure all considerations for satisfaction are met. On the reverse side of setup is teardown when the revelry ends.
• KAJ Family One of the best parts about this role is working with colleagues who share your passion, drive, and commitment to service. You will be asked to assist other team members throughout the day to make a lasting impression with the guests about the space, the people, and their experience through food and beverage.
• Helpful, with a Side of Hustle There’s never a dull moment in this role, as you are on your feet and moving most of the time. You’ll log steps and maintain your physical health by actively moving up to eight hours per day and sometimes lifting up to 40 pounds. You and your teammates will consistently support each other to lend a hand as needed to ensure we’re delivering the KAJ experience every day, with every guest.
