Weekend Caregiver Needed!
Home Care Assistance is looking for several compassionate and reliable caregivers to assist clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Dementia and Alzheimer's clients, and be available to on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for overnight shifts. 11 pm - 7 am.
We also have several day time 4 hour shifts if you are interested in part time work.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow non-medical service plan
- Light housekeeping (dusting, vacuuming, etc.)
- Grocery shopping, preparation of meals, running errands as needed
- Laundry, changing bed linens as needed
- Assisting client with activities of daily living
- Monitoring the safety of the client, via stand-by
- Performing activities/hobbies with client, keeping the client active and socially engaged in things they may be interested in.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must pass a background check
- Must have a minimum of one-year experience as a Caregiver
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance required
- CPR/1st Aid certified within 90 days
- Ability to read, write, and understand English as needed
