RN Visit Nurse - Home Health (Part-Time)

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and professional Home Health RN Visit Nurse to provide targeted care and skilled nursing services, recertifications, and occasional supervisory visits - in a Part-Time capacity - to our clients in Mansfield, Ohio and surrounding areas in up to a 1-hour radius.

• Location: Based anywhere in Ohio with ability to serve Mansfield, OH and up to a 1-hour radius

• Hours: As needed on weekdays only. No weekends or on-call shifts.
• Requirements & Qualifications:
• Active RN, preferably with home health agency experience. Must have active license and ability to practice in the State of Ohio.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a paid nurse; 3 years preferred.
• 1 years with a home health agency or equivalent in-home care environment is preferred but not required.
• Active CPR and First Aid Certification, or willingness to renew prior to start.
• Strong background in nursing, patient care, safety, compliance, and confidentiality.
• Desirable character traits: reliable, honest beyond reproach, professional, compassionate, detail-oriented (in care documentation), accountable, friendly and accommodating, respectful, and positive.
• Current Driver's License and reliable transportation.

This is a Part Time position with hourly pay and flexible, customizable schedules, and reporting to experienced RNs, not non-clinical business managers. This role requires travel up to 1 hour from Mansfield, OH, as needed.

The typical daily travel radius <30 minutes, with occasional travel up to a 1-hour radius as needed.

Mileage is reimbursed door-to-door.

No weekends, on-call, or overnight shifts required.

Compensation

• RN Hourly: $35 - $40
• Consideration for higher salary is based upon home health and supervisory experience, business growth results, certifications, and overall fit.
  
  

Job Summary

As a Home Health Visit Nurse, you will be instrumental in coordinating and providing patient care and ensuring optimal outcomes.

• Following a physician-established plan of treatment and working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, our Home Health Visit Nurses instruct patients and their families in proper treatment and help individuals and groups take steps to improve or maintain health.
• With core skills in managed care, patient assessment, client care and treatment plan documentation, and discharge planning, you will oversee patient services and provide expert nursing care.
• Your premium skills in critical care and infectious disease care will be valuable in handling complex cases, while your relevant skills in home and community care and supervising experience will enhance your ability to lead and support a multidisciplinary team.
• You will ensure the successful communication with and between our physicians, our agency staff, service administrators, other caregivers and clinicians, and the client his/her family.
  
  

Our nurses function as a Caregiver, Teacher, and Advocate; working in partnership with the family, our nursing staff brings a commitment to support and assist with the family in their caregiver role. As a caregiver, the nurse will provide ongoing assessment of our patient's condition response to treatments and developmental progress. As a teacher, the nurse will instruct the family on procedures, medications, safe use of equipment, and compliance with the treatments.
