Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Provide medication reminders
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and guidelines.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities, including lifting when necessary.
- Support clients with memory care techniques to promote cognitive engagement.
- Facilitate social interactions and community involvement for clients in home or community settings.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in long-term care or home care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with geriatrics is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- A compassionate approach to caregiving, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 60 per week
