Job Title:
Registered Nurse with one year of Pediatric experience holding Compact Nursing License for MD and VA
We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join our team. This is a full-time/ part-time opportunity with competitive compensation and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Provide management & supervision of private duty nurses & aides
- Assist with coordination of clinical services to ensure appropriate service delivery under the direction of Director of Nursing
- Supervise care of patients from admission to discharge for assigned caseload
- Monthly home visits & documentation of supervisory note
- Develop a Plan of Treatment for assigned patients & update every 60 days
- Attend scheduled meetings to collaborate with other health care professionals to plan & implement appropriate therapeutic regime
- Perform skill checks for assigned clinical staff to ensure competency
- Review clinical documentation to assure adequacy & quality of care
- Reinforce training of caregivers as required
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN or equivalent Preferred)
- Active Registered Nursing license in Maryland / Virginia
- Current CPR certification
- PEDIATRIC experience: 1 year (minimum) which includes pediatric direct patient care within the last 3 years [preferred]
- Candidate must possess strong clinical skills to manage the care of technologically dependent patients with trachs / feeding tubes / ventilators
