Caregiver duties include, but are not limited to:
- Companionship and conversation
- Providing transportation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Assistance with grooming, bathing, toileting and incontinence issues
- Alzheimer’s Care
Requirements to be a Home Instead Caregiver:
- 21 years of age
- Have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work every other Saturday and Sunday
- Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance
