What are the responsibilities and job description for the Conservation Analyst position at Home Office Careers?
Are you detail-oriented and organized? If so, Modern Woodmen of America is looking for a Conservation Analyst to assist our Field Representatives with policies and procedures regarding conservation and retention of business. You would also provide options directly to our members as requested. This includes handling escalated, complex cases.

Responsibilities:
- Provide options to members regarding certificate conservation. Ability to handle unusual/complex cases.
- Assist Field representatives and members with conservation of CustomLife (CL) certificates. Notify Field representatives of CL certificates in jeopardy of expiring. Troubleshoot problems and provide options to retain the CL member and premium.
- Provide conservation options to members who are considering replacement or surrender of their Modern Woodmen contract.
- Provide general assistance to Field representatives on product questions and in competitive or replacement situations.
- Provide assistance to Field representatives and members on conservation options available for qualified and non-qualified annuity transfers as well as surrenders and partial withdrawals over specified limits.
- Assist with implementation, recordkeeping and processes related to business and membership retention.
- Train as backup for other Conservation staff members’ duties.
- Notify Field of requests received from outside companies for member information.
- Administer re-entry program.
What we need:
- High School Diploma or better. Three years relevant experience preferred.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily tasks and to work independently.
- Ability to resolve issues in a timely manner and be a productive member of the team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
What we offer:
- Pay: The hourly pay for this position is $21.00. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.
- Work Arrangements: This is a full-time hybrid position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day), Monday- Friday, with flexible start time between 7:00AM-9:00AM. Hybrid positions work at least 3 days in office and the remaining days each week working from home. Employees beginning to work in a new hybrid role will be asked to work on-site (5 days a week) during the initial training period which may be up to 1 year.
