How You’ll Help Fulfill the HSHM Mission
Custodial
- Assist custodian as needed
- Maintain landscape: cut and trim shrubs and grass
Maintenance
- Perform or assist with minor building repairs and maintenance, including carpentry, plumbing, masonry, HVAC, painting, and some electrical work
Communication
- Proactively communicate maintenance needs and a plan for addressing those needs to supervisor
- Maintain and regularly update status of tasks in Maintenance Request Log
- Assist in identification of ineffective operations and provide solutions to management
Qualifications
- Mission-oriented with values in harmony with those of Home Sweet Home Ministries, Inc.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Knowledge of using manual and power tools
- Self-motivated, able to work independently
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
