What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk position at Home2 Suites by Hilton?

As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in providing outstanding guest service. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process, addressing guest inquiries and needs, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Your friendly and professional demeanor will contribute to our guests' overall positive experience.

Responsibilities:

    • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
    • Efficiently handle guest check-ins and check-outs, including payment processing.
    • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options.
    • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and courteous manner.
    • Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and reservations.
    • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Handle phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members.
    • Assist with administrative duties such as data entry and report generation.
    • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Previous hotel front desk or night audit experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including hotel management software.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Professional appearance and a friendly demeanor.

Compensation : 

Starting Pay: $15.00/hr - $16.00/hr Benefits
