Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receives and verifies cash from customers and follows all cash handling procedures
  • Accurately reconciles cash drawer daily including scanning of all images
  • Processes customer transactions: Loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, cash checks, and monetary instruments.
  • Receives and verifies checks, examines items for appropriate endorsements and completes hold requests as needed accurately
  • Understand and able to Navigate NuPoint Core System
  • Navigates the S drive
  • Accurately process savings bonds for redemption
  • Processes cash advances
  • Able to accurately complete a check order form
  • Effectively demonstrate digital solutions to customers or potential customers
  • Understand and operate technically advanced banking equipment such as cash recyclers and coin counters as available in your branch
  • Basic knowledge and navigation skills of Internet banking and Mobile App
  • Successfully able to use email system to communicate and checks it often
  • Navigate Aurora to find documents needed to assist customers
  • Operate the phone system, including jabber, transferring calls, picking up calls and understand hunt groups and single number reach
  • Complete CRM training and use it as needed
  • Understand AOD, Safeline, and ATS products
  • Know where to log checks, offages, etc.
  • Understand what a sweep account is
  • Clean bank equipment, coin counters, scanners, ATM card readers, recyclers, etc.
  • Understand CTR requirements and how to complete the forms in Teller
  • Successfully complete required bank training
  • Understand alerts and override processes and how to read them before asking for assistance
  • Successfully understand the change order process in dual control
  • Can explain HOLD processes and place hold accurately
  • Understands vacationing customer debit card process
  • Complete address changes with accuracy in core system and forms
  • Complete weekly WI-FI checks
  • Assist in debit card, gift card and check inventory
  • Assist in balancing the vault daily
  • If applicable, roll the recycler at the end of the day
  • Complete the end of day branch balance
  • Understand Paycom system and how to correct punch changes, and can request PTO
  • Attends BSA training
  • Can successfully troubleshoot problems with bank equipment, such as coin counters, and money counters.
  • Annually participate in Robbery/Security training
  • Read and attest to both the Employee Handbook and the Business Continuity Plan
  • Complete mandatory online training course
  • Understand the annual review process
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements


  • High School, Bachelors Degree or related experience
  • Ability to work every other Saturday, 9am-12pm.
  • Strong communications (written and verbal), customer skills, & interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficient with PC based teller software or willingness to learn
  • Be able to operate email
