Position Summary
The Scrum Master is responsible for the planning and execution of company strategy. The Scrum Master will also be responsible for reporting and team visibility as well as ensuring the team’s desired outcomes are met.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects.
- Decide on suitable strategies and objectives
- Coordinating cross-project activities
- Apply change, risk and resource management.
- Assess team performance and aim to maximize ROI
- Resolve projects’ scope issues
- Tracking and reporting of all relevant team performance metrics to ensure organizational transparency, including project and release status
- Proactively identifying and removing impediments thru consistent focus on creative problem solving and collaboration with appropriate subject matter experts and decision makers
- Ensuring project dashboard and relevant documentation and are maintained and current at all times.
- Building and promoting an open, trusting and respectful team environment; facilitating discussion, collaborative decision-making and conflict resolution
- Ongoing assessment of the maturity of the team(s); coaching the team to higher levels of maturity in order to get the most out of self-organization, at a pace that is sustainable and appropriate for the team and organization
- Providing support to the team(s) using a servant leadership style whenever possible, and leading by example
- All other duties as assigned.
