Responsibilities:
- Implement and grow our comprehensive fundraising strategy to support Homes First's mission.
- Supervise grant writing contrator who will identify and pursue grant opportunities to secure funding for various projects and initiatives
- Utilize Bloomerang or similar CRM software to manage donor relationships, track donations, and generate reports
- Negotiate partnerships and collaborations with external organizations to expand the organization's reach and impact
- Oversee public relations efforts, including media relations, press releases, and communication materials
- Lead the development team and work closely with our executive leadership, volunteers, and other stakeholders to build and sustain donor relationships, expand funding streams, and increase brand awareness and community engagement.
- Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events to generate financial support

Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Communications, Marketing, or related fields

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising, development, sales, or marketing
  • Proven track record in securing major gifts, grants, and sponsorships from various sources (individuals, corporations, foundations, etc.)
  • Experience in building and managing a diverse portfolio of donors and donor relations, including planning and executing cultivation events, donor recognition programs, and stewardship activities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment
  • Passion for Homes First's mission and values
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite and donor CRM, and other fundraising software and tools
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Familiarity with market trends in fundraising, philanthropy, and nonprofit management
  • Ability to analyze data, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven decisions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
