Description:Summary
Responsible for loading, transporting and unloading tires and other materials to and from customers.
Functional Responsibilities
Responsible for loading, transporting and unloading tires and other materials to and from customers.
Functional Responsibilities
- Exhibit a strong work ethic with the ability to take direction and work in a team setting and independently.
- Adhere to Hometown Tire Pros Code of Conduct and company policies.
- Determine the most direct route to customer giving consideration to safety, traffic and state DOT regulations.
- Inspect customer job site to ensure delivery can be made safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections according to company guidelines. Maintain truck maintenance, fluid levels and fuel as needed or required.
- Report any vehicle mechanical problems on a timely basis to ensure prompt attention from fleet maintenance.
- Keep the interior and exterior of the truck clean and free of clutter.
- Comply with all Safety, Health, Environmental and other Company policies and procedures.
- Perform other functions and duties as required or directed.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS
- Must be insurable by company insurance - Clean driving record.
- 18 years or older.
- Ability to lift and move up to 100lbs.
- CDL preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
