We have an immediate opening for HHAs and CNAs in Malden, Everett, Melrose, Medford, Revere, Somerville, Cambridge, Arlington, Stoneham, Saugus, Wakefield, Winchester, MA area. This position is for someone with 3 years of experience. 7am-3pm Monday-Friday guaranteed hours. There are opportunities to pick up more hours if desired but ability to work this shift consistently each week is required. This is a great opportunity for extra income while giving back to the community.

Responsibilities
- Choose your own consistent schedule
- This position allows for a full scope of interaction with the client in their home
- Provide routine individualized care to the client
- Provide patient personal care and companionship
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status
- Perform light housekeeping including laundry and tidy patient's room
- Ability to document care provided

Requirements
- Certification is not required, but must be able to provide verification of any certifications held
- Experience as a caregiver in a home care setting or skilled facility
- Must pass national and multi-jurisdictional background checks, Department of Motor Vehicle checks, as well as TB and drug screening tests
- Must be able to meet quality standards of care during shifts and follow standard procedures for engaging with the rest of the care team
- Must possess a valid driver’s license or photo ID
- Must have reliable transportation
Qualifications:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Experience in hospice, home health, or other related fields is a plus
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Positive, caring and patient personality
- Ability to make engaging conversation with client
- Ability to handle a light physical workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
