Caregiver

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team! Licensed CNAs (Certified Nursing Assistants) and certified HHAs (Home Health Aides) are welcome to apply.

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential supportive care services to our home care clients, following their individualized care plans and ensuring compliance with their Service Agreements. Your role is crucial in supporting clients' well-being, comfort, and independence in their homes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

• Must be 18 years old with High School Degree

• Caregivers, Active CNA License or HHA certificate

• Valid Florida Driver's License and Insurance

• CPR Certification

Level 2 background check

• Must possess effective communication skills.

• Experience as caregiver home care setting or skilled facility or assisting with activities of daily living (ex: mobility, grooming, bathing).

• Provide complex care for those living with chronic conditions.

• Does not administer medication or perform any procedures requiring the knowledge or skills of a licensed nurse.

• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.

• Assist clients with errands, appointments, and social activities.

• Update office staff on client progress as needed.

Physical Qualifications

• Able to work an average of 15-30 hours per week.

• Able to bend, climb, stoop, and stand.

• Able to lift 20-30 pounds.

• Able to use tools necessary for job.

Caregivers must meet:

• Must meet hiring criteria as defined in the agency’s minimum standards.

• Must be able to function with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for maintaining a professional relationship with the client.

• Must accept responsibility for maintaining skills and learning on an ongoing basis, as well as adhering to agency policies.

Homewatch CareGivers of Winter Garden is seeking for reliable, dependable, honest, and caring Home Health Aide or Certified Nurses Assistance to aid our clients in their daily living and personal care services in patient homes in accordance with the established care plan. Caregivers must be observant enough to recognize changes in their clients and be capable of alerting the appropriate personnel when necessary.
