Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Hotel Facilities Attendant to support the upkeep and functionality of our property. This role focuses on light repairs, preventative maintenance, and general facility support to ensure a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for guests and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Complete light repairs under the direction and oversight of Hotel Chief Engineer
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff
- Assist with room turns, seasonal projects, and property upkeep
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
- Follow all safety procedures and hotel standards
Qualifications
- Experience in maintenance, facilities, or hotel engineering preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repair work
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexible schedule, including availability for weekends or on-call shifts as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
