Techno Functional Analyst

OVERVIEW:

In this position, we are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be a part of cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full Software Development life cycle from conception to deployment.

As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The following essential job qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• Work with development teams, architect, and product manager to ideate software solutions.
• Design client and server-side architecture.
• Develop front-end of applications through appealing visual design.
• Develop and manage well-functioning database and applications.
• Write effective Restful API’s.
• Test software for responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Create security and data protection settings.
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

PERIODIC JOB FUNCTIONS

The following period job functions include, but are not limited to:

• Able to travel if/as necessary (less than 10%, annually).
• Work during periodic shutdown day(s) if/as necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS)

The minimum requirements include:

Qualifications (experience may include a combination of work experience and/or education):

Five (5) years of experience:

• Writing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React. Being up on latest practices is a must. E.g. HTML5, CSS3.
• Working experience on Python back-end programing language.
• Experience in using frameworks and tools like Django, Flask, Django REST, ORM.
• Experience working with Docker images and containers.
• Database design, management, and good working knowledge on database like Postgres, MYSQL.
• Developing and designing Restful services and APIs.
• Experience working with server technologies including IIS, Nginx.
• Server management and deployment for the relevant environment.
• Experience developing desktop, mobile and progressive web applications.
• Good working knowledge with Git and providers like TFS, GitHub.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline and tools.
• Experience of Programming using Object Oriented Programming (OOPs concept) and software development life cycle (SDLC), architecting scalable platforms, object-oriented programming, database design and agile methodologies.
• Experience implementing testing platforms and unit tests.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• Ability to write clean code, think logically and solve problems.
• Ability and passion to quickly learn and implement new technologies as required.
• Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices.
• Nice to have experience with AWS services like Amazon RDS, Amazon EC2, Amazon CloudWatch etc.

Additional:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the human resource information system (HRIS), and similar HR applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
