What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool & Die Technician-Level 2 position at Honeywell?
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S.
Primary responsibility will be to support tooling requirements with regards to production stamping dies within the Fabrication Value Stream.
Key Responsibilities:
- performing preventative maintenance and repair tasks across a wide range of dies with varying complexity across various departments.
- Conceptualize and implement continuous improvement solutions related to specific tooling supported, safety, and departmental productivity.
- Responsible for interfacing with engineering and production personnel to implement cost-effective solutions which meet our customer' s requirements in regards to quality and minimal downtime.
- Responsible for following established departmental practices and interfacing with stamping support coordinator to insure workload is completed according to the critical needs of the business.
- Additional tasks include fabrication of replacement tooling, fixturing, and continuous improvement solutions in support of all ISC production tooling and equipment as needed.
MUST HAVE
High School Diploma or GED
Completion of a formal Tool and Die apprenticeship is required
Minimum of 5 years of tooling trades experience in a manufacturing environment

Demonstrated proficiency operating a wide variety of parts fabrication equipment, precision measurement devices, material handling equipment, and hand tools in a safe manner.
Demonstrated ability and operating CNC machining equipment.
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to perform work with minimal supervision and guidance. Demonstrated ability to diagnose issues and conceptualize cost-effective solutions in a timely manner.
Possess willingness and flexibility to perform a wide variety of support tasks within organization.
Demonstrated proficiency with personal computers.
Must possess ability to maintain positive attitude and perform in a team environment.
