In this position you will ensure that program and functional objectives are implemented and maintained as they relate to forward looking project requirements forecast development and inventory coverage processes. You will be responsible for supporting the global network of plants in the creation and deployment of master production schedules, materials forecasts, and raw materials and finished goods inventory plans. Specifically, the role will serve as the hub, synchronizing manufacturing capacity and supply, procurement requirements, and inventory as they support a global engineered-to-order warehousing systems business. The incumbent will be primarily accountable for global performance of on-time-shipment to customer and inventory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct business analyses, recommend solutions, and implement initiatives to improve the quality of plans for raw material purchasing, manufacturing schedules, inventory management, and customer service
- Drive the Transformation initiative and deployment of the Honeywell Global Design Model for planning, including organization, processes, and tools
- Establish a culture of continuous improvement and process excellence
- Build a culture of highly skilled and talented professionals in preparation for progression within Honeywell
- Manage the end-to-end Planning function and processes
- Oversee Physical Network Planning including Inventory, partner with Logistics
- Set Policies around Service Level Strategies with the Business
- Create and maintain statistical safety stock levels and system parameters to improve balance of service and working capital
- Manage the production planning process to achieve optimal resource allocation and cost containment
- Lead the Excess and Obsolescence process in partnership with finance and manufacturing teams
- Monitor and ensure capacity is effectively managed, taking into account network changes, capital improvements, and plant performance. Provide strategic direction for the effective use of capacity.
- Create and dynamically adjust monthly, annual, and long-term volume forecasts via the S&OP process
- Participate in evaluating feasibility of business opportunities and fit with current project portfolio and resulting capacity
- Maintain detailed involvement in site transition execution
- Support SIOP process through participation in the monthly SIOP meetings; develop and present Supply Plans and Scenarios as required
