What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dock Hand position at Hontoon Landing Resort & Marina?
Brief Description:
The Grounds/Dock Hand position consists of various duties outside at Hontoon Landing Resort & Marina. Duties consist of: handling of small boats, orienting customers on use of rental boats, dock maintenance, customer service, use of gasoline powered equipment, and various duties. Position is primarily outside and may be manual labor intensive.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· At least 18 years of age.
· Must pass background check.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Physical ability to handle at least 50 lbs.
· Ability to tolerate Florida heat as position is primarily outside.
Desired Abilities:
· Completion of the Florida Boater’s Safety Education Course (Not required for application).
· Boating Experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
