Maintenance Assistant
Overview of Responsibilities: (not limited to the following)
- Completes all service request within 48-hours of the call
- Maintains all grounds, including daily trash removal, snow and ice removal
- Handle basic repairs and maintenance
- Overseeing Contractors when professional repairs are necessary
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with Local, State and Federal OSHA regulations
- Other duties as may be necessary to achieve Hooverwood Living’s goals and objectives
- Must have prior Director of Maintenance experience. (Preferably in healthcare setting)
- You have knowledge of plumbing and/or electrical.
- Overseeing maintenance technicians
- Life safety is a must
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven maintenance experience in a healthcare setting
- Life Safety is a must
- Ability to work in a Team environment or independently
- Committed to safety & organizational goals
- A record of stable & continuous employment
- Professional communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up 50lbs. or more , climb ladders and stairs, and stand for continuous periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and communications systems
- Valid Indiana Driver’s License

Salary : $65,000 - $70,000
