Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company is a vertically integrated musculoskeletal outcomes management company. HOPCo manages physician practices, hospital service lines, population health and value-based care programs, and musculoskeletal delivery networks.
HOPCo is the managing partner of Arizona-based entities, CORE Institute, Northern Arizona Orthopaedics, CORE Institute Specialty Hospital, Michigan-based CORE Institute, and Florida-based Southeast Orthopedic Specialists Clinics and Musculoskeletal Specialty Hospital.
As HOPCo continues to grow, we are looking for an Medical Economic Analyst. Please see below for the functions and requirements for this position.
Essential Functions:
- Manages, leads, or participates on complex medical economic projects (e.g., Medical Cost Savings Initiatives) including identification and completion of key deliverables.
- Apply data science techniques to develop, validates and execute algorithms, statistical models and reporting tools that answer applied research and business questions for internal and external clients.
- Provide medical cost trend analytics and assess variance to expectations and determine forecasted rate requirements from payers.
- Makes recommendations about data collection methods, metrics definition and evaluation methods.
- Designs and conducts analyses and outcome studies using healthcare claims and other available data, employing appropriate research designs and statistical methods.
- Works cross-functionally throughout the region toward achieving operational targets.
- Presents complex information in a way that multiple levels within an organization can understand and utilize to make appropriate decisions to meet business objectives.
- Responsible for project commitments to quality and on-time deliverables.
- Willingness to understand and probe into technical details.
- Creates and evaluates the data needs of assigned projects and assures the integrity of the data.
- Works independently to plan and conduct sophisticated analyses.
