Hope Community Resources, Inc. is a non-profit disabilities service provider based in Anchorage, Alaska. Founded in 1968, our company provides services and supports to people of all ages and abilities who experience an intellectual, developmental, or other disability, traumatic brain injury, or mental health challenge.
As our Maintenance Specialist I you will provide maintenance and general repairs in the areas of carpentry, painting, plastering, equipment servicing, plumbing, electrical, or vehicle servicing as assigned. You will also be responsible for both grounds keeping and snow removal as seasonally appropriate. To be successful in this role, you will need basic knowledge of commonly used concepts and practices within the field of maintenance. Everyday we'll count on you to work independently with minimal supervision supporting the upkeep of agency property and equipment.
If you have some entry level construction/handyman experience, this is the job for you! Driving is required for this role.
- High School diploma or GED required
- 2 years of experience in maintenance or related field required
