At Horizon Family, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with various pain conditions, such as low back pain, neck pain, neuropathic pain, and more. You may assist with procedures such as injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and imaging guided interventions. You will have the autonomy to practice within your full scope of practice.
Duties:
- Provide comprehensive pain management care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as appropriate.
- Monitor patients' responses to treatments and adjust plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and their families about pain management techniques and strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic medical records systems
- Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures in providing patient care.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pain Management Nurse or in a related field.
- Familiarity with health coaching principles to support patients in managing their pain effectively.
- Experience in utilization review to ensure appropriate utilization of resources for pain management treatments.
- Understanding of laboratory and medical imaging procedures related to pain management.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
