What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi-site Property Manager position at Hornig Companies?
Brookstone Townhomes, Hanley Place Apartments and Gray’s Landing in Hudson, WI seeks a responsible, dedicated, and enthusiastic Property Manager. This portfolio consists of 144 units. Brookstone Townhomes is a 34-unit family designated property, Hanley Place Apartments is a 65-unit senior/disability designated apartment complex, and Gray’s Landing is a 45-unit family designated property. All three sites are operating under the Section 42 Tax Credit program, and all are in the extended use period.
What are some of the things I would do?
- Initiate and manage all core business processes, including leasing, client relations, marketing, maintenance, vendor relations, selection, recruitment, and team development.
- Provide outstanding customer service and maintain professional rapport with all residents, applicants, vendors, and staff.
- Oversee the marketing and leasing of the property
- Coordinate the move-in/move-out process
- Work with vendors and maintenance for timely completion of unit turns and maintenance work on properties
- Collect & deposit rents and follow up on delinquency
- Organize and facilitate resident events
- Facilitate all day-to-day operations of the properties as required
- Manage overall cleanliness of the property and daily routine of housekeeping staff and maintenance staff
- Take a hands-on approach accomplish objectives as well as to facilitate the successful performance of others.

What should I bring to the team?
- Qualified candidates will have some property management or related field experience
- Strong work ethic and desire to assist our residents in finding and maintaining a great place to live
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong computer skills including MS Office. Yardi software experience preferred
- Experience with Yardi property management software, the Section 42 Tax Credit program and senior housing is a plus.
