Area Lead - Machine Operators, Corrugation (3rd Shift)

POSITION SUMMARY The Area Leader leads their team and supports the day-to-day operations of the Department. The Area Leader role coordinates all activities within their department to ensure efficient use of labor and equipment. Area Leaders ensures compliance with work instructions and quality requirements. Area Leaders addresses all of the inefficiencies within the Department. Area Leaders provide 1st level escalation, problem solving, and enabling the operator to achieve optimum performance. 3rd Shift: 7:30PM - 6:00AM, Monday - Thursday. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures Department adheres to all Safety requirements and guidelines Maintain Hose Master Standards for Housekeeping/5S. Ensure all Quality check requirements are met throughout the shift.  Ensure completion of Preventative Maintenance within the department Own progress of orders through Department to ensure delivery dates are met Maintain a floor presence and be a resource to the operators that are running machines Ensure employees are properly trained when assigning jobs/tasks Coordinate work in the area to meet daily goals. Conduct Shift Start Up meetings as needed Identify any un-staffed equipment and work with supervisor to develop a plan to utilize the equipment if needed. Coordinate any changes to shop floor schedule with planning Perform any functions in the area on an as needed basis. Support Company
