What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical and Community Educator position at Hospice of Darke County?
Summary of Position:
The Clinical and Community Educator is directly responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating continuing education programs for staff, volunteers, contracted providers, healthcare community, and public. The Clinical and Community Educator is also responsible for arranging for and completing orientation of new staff. This position is part of the leadership team.
Education and Experience:
1. Graduation from an approved School of Nursing.
2. Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio and the eligibility to obtain licensure in the State of Indiana or current RN licensure in the State of Indiana and the eligibility to obtain licensure in the State of Ohio.
3. Minimum of three years of experience in Medical/Surgical, Oncology or community health nursing.
4. Hospice experience preferred.
5. Minimum of one year of management experience.
Monday - Friday
40 Hours a Week, with admin on call requirements.
