An Excellent Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Hospice Sales Liaison to promote utilization of hospice and palliative care services to patients, families and the medical community. The person in this position is responsible for establishing and developing new business contacts, maintaining current relationships and carrying out the sales and marketing plan. The territory for this position is the Winston Salem and Forsyth County area.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understands and clearly articulate MVHPC services both orally and in writing.
- Build relationships through daily interactions with physicians, nurses, social workers, and discharge planners to gain referral/admissions for hospice and palliative care services.
- Maintain a relationship with all referral sources to make sure we are meeting their needs, as well as those of the patients, families, support staff, etc.
- Prepare and conduct calls and presentations to physician offices/hospitals/assisted livings facilities and SNF’s to educate and inform referral sources and patients of home health options.
- Coordinate with clinical management staff in planning in-services and presentations, and in addressing issues with referral sources.
- Maintain sales territory in order to meet census goals and be comfortable with sales techniques such as cold calling and contact planning.
Requisites:
- Bachelor Degree focused in Marketing, Business, Human Services or the equivalent.
- A minimum of one-year medical marketing experience, preferably hospice.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including a professional phone manner and in-person presence.
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability to understand priorities and be flexible to meet patient and organization needs.
- Must be a highly ethical, self-motivated team player.
