Job Description – Provider Enrollment Processor
Position Summary: Under general supervision, this position facilitates and coordinates the Provider Enrollment Processing Department by performing the following duties described. This position depends on the ability to be in regular attendance and to adhere to and follow HIPAA regulatory and compliance standards as well as all company policies and procedures.

Job Description – Provider Enrollment Processor
Position Summary: Under general supervision, this position facilitates and coordinates the Provider Enrollment Processing Department by performing the following duties described. This position depends on the ability to be in regular attendance and to adhere to and follow HIPAA regulatory and compliance standards as well as all company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following (Other duties may be assigned):
- All aspects of administrative support to the Provider Enrollment Processing Department
- Research provider enrollment and insurance portal requirements across all states for Commercial and Medicaid payers
- Screen enrollments for discrepancies and conduct follow-ups as needed.
- Enroll customers with Commercial and Medicaid payers within our Vendor’s system and other relevant insurance portals.
- Track and report the status of provider payer enrollment to management.
- Professionally communicate and provide updates regarding the status and process of provider enrollment with relevant department(s) and managers.
- Communicate the evolving needs and procedures of the department with management.
- Create a Step-By-Step process for each Payor and/or Insurance Portal as needed.
- Ensure enrollments are completed in a timely manner, accurately, documented and records retained.
- Ability to work and multi-task with minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette/customer service skills.
- Exceptional ability to professionally communicate knowledge of relevant processes.
- Exceptional research, organizational, note taking skills, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and follow up skills.
- Experience with medical insurance companies
- Have the ability to begin and successfully complete new projects with little or no direction
- High School Diploma
- Intermediate to Advance level experience with Excel, Microsoft Office and Google Drive programs.
- Medical Billing experience helpful but not required
- Minimum typing 40 WPM
- Professional communication skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to work well with a team.
