Hospital Sisters Health System is recruiting a Vice President - Chief Nursing Executive. This role is responsible for the coordination of the nursing service functions across the system. This role reports directly to the HSHS SVP & Chief Operating Officer and is based at our system office in Springfield, IL.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned nursing leader with specific experience driving nursing quality standards, nursing education, and emergency preparedness. The ideal candidate is also experienced in magnet standards and practices.

- Relocation package provided
- Base salary and annual incentive both provided
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in business, nursing, healthcare administration, management or related field is required or must be actively pursuing master's degree and graduate within 2 years of assuming the role.
- BSN is required if Master's degree is not a Master's in Nursing.
- PhD in nursing or willingness to obtain PhD in nursing is strongly preferred.
- 7 years nursing experience in hospital-based setting is required.
- 5 years of nursing leadership experience is required.
- 2 years experience with magnet standards and practices is preferred.

Qualifications
Education Master’s degree in business, nursing, healthcare administration, management or related field is required or must be actively pursuing master's degree and graduate within 2 years of assuming the role. BSN is required if Master’s degree is not a Master’s in Nursing. PhD in nursing is preferred. Experience 7 years nursing experience in a hospital-based setting is required. 5 years of nursing leadership experience is required. 2 years’ experience with magnet standards and practices is preferred. Certificates, Licenses & Registrations Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
