Director of Food & Beverage
As a Food and Beverage Director, you will collaborate with company leadership in determining goals and future direction for the department, including themes, food and beverage offerings, events, and guest service.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Plan, direct and coordinate F&B activities for hotel's restaurants, in-room dining, and banquets.
- Ensure the quality, creativity and variety of the food and beverage offerings.
- Oversee revenue achievement, cost control, payroll management, purchasing, receiving, budgeting, forecasting, standards development and maintenance and staff.
- Prepare and execute on food and beverage budget.
- Provide leadership in outlets ensuring smooth running and profitable operations.
Food & Beverage Manager
As a Food and Beverage Manager, you will be accountable for managing day-to-day Food and Beverage operations in the hotel while ensuring that all of the food and drinks are of the highest quality and keeping within budget.
Below is a sample of the essential job functions:
- Assist in developing financial goals to meet or exceed within the department
- Accurately forecast food and beverage revenue/expenses
- Ensure hotel staff is trained in financial control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables
- Identify major revenue and expense opportunities and possible problems
- Create and distribute team member schedules in a timely manner
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years Food and Beverage leadership experience in luxury hotel brand.
- Working knowledge of hospitality departments including restaurants, in-room dining, mini bar and banquets.
- Proven ability to lead a team
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
- Computer literate, ability to learn new programs, interact with Excel/Word and Google Suite, Opera, Delphi.
- Outgoing and enthusiastic with a positive attitude
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including in front of a group, with ability to communicate detailed instructions and hold team accountable for results
