Job Summary:The Bookkeeping Assistant / Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting both the financial tracking and administrative coordination of residential construction projects. This position works under the direction of the Office Manager to coordinate with owners, project managers, and vendors, ensuring accurate job costing, timely payments, organized project documentation, and smooth communication across all phases of construction. Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping & Financial SupportProcess accounts payable and receivableMatch invoices to purchase orders, contracts, and job budgetsEnter and track expenses by job cost and phaseAssist with draw requests, lien waivers, and payment releasesReconcile vendor statementsAssist with monthly reporting, job cost summaries, and budget trackingKey Responsibilities: Project Coordination & Administrative SupportAssist with project setup, including job folders, budgets, and documentationTrack subcontractor contracts, insurance certificates, and W-9sCoordinate scheduling communications with subcontractors and suppliersMaintain project logs, change orders, and updated documentationSupport permitting, inspection tracking, and compliance documentationCommunicate with homeowners, vendors, and internal team members as neededHelp keep project timelines and deliverables organized and up to date Required Skills/Abilities:Experience in residential construction, home building, or related trades2 years of experience in bookkeeping, construction accounting, or project coordination2 years of experience Microsoft Excel2 years of experience Adobe AcrobatProficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage Contractor 100, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar)Proficiency with project management software (e.g., BuilderTrend, CoConstruct, or similar)Excellent organizational and time-management skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required Work Environment:Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Terms:Pay is negotiable based upon experience and certificationsFull-TimeImmediate HiringNO REMOTE WORK AVAILABLE How to Apply: Please attach your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience in bookkeeping and/or residential construction.
