The pay rate for this position is based on the projected range of thehourly rate plus tips.
JOB SUMMARY:
As the Elizabeth Street Cafe Server/Barista, you will be responsible for serving food and skillfully crafted beverages to guests, while demonstrating and promoting a positive guest experience. The Server/Barista will work with a wide range of beverage offerings, attention to detail, and working quickly & accurately will help ensure your success. Serve customers with hospitality, kindness, and approachability, always explaining the menu as much or as little as the customer needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Accurately taking guests food and beverage orders.
- Preparing and serving beverages and food to guests with positive energy.
- Enterging all orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system, accepting money and making change when needed.
- Complete all service paperwork as required.
- Keep a clean and tidy workspace, always cleaning in free time, even inside and behind items, following the cleaning checklists closely
- Ensure the goods and supplies are properly replinished and stocked for each shift.
- Be a team player and strive to work well with other employees.
- Be organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure.
- Works as a team with all personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service
- Enthusiastically welcome each guest and be aware of tone, and body language at all times
- Makes guests feel appreciated, seen, and taken care of through your actions.
- Works with others to keep all areas cleaned and stocked to the Company’s standards at all times.
- Possess an understanding of menu and food knowledge.
- Other duties as assigned.
