As the SVP, Creative Director, you are a modern B2B and B2C storyteller with a drive for solving creative challenges through crafting, shaping and selling distinctive, integrated content across the funnel through all channels including broadcast, print, OOH, email, digital and social.
As a trusted partner to brands, you will be pivotal in driving business growth, working alongside our account management and new business teams to pitch concepts and creative solutions that resonate with our current clients and captivate prospects.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creative Leadership: Direct and mentor a team of talented in-house and freelance art directors, designers, copywriters, video storytellers and content creators, fostering an environment of innovation and collaboration, while optimizing productivity and impact.
- Bench-Building: Build and nurture a diverse community of best-in-class freelance partners and creative collaborators to expand our range and stretch our ability to solve client challenges.
- Campaign Elevation: Leverage your creative and strategic experience to provide critical feedback, elevate creative quality, and ensure brand consistency across all client deliverables, rolling up your sleeves as needed to contribute directly to project success.
- Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, present ideas and build relationships that foster long-term partnerships. Serve as a creative ambassador, advocating for innovative concepts that support client goals.
- New Business Pitching: Collaborate closely with the business development and account teams to conceptualize, develop, and present winning pitches with distinctive ideas that reflect a deep understanding of client goals.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work seamlessly with account managers, video studio teams, strategists and others to align on goals, ensure project consistency and maintain an integrated approach to client service.
- Industry Insights: Stay curious about industry trends, AI and emerging technologies, and cultural shifts with an eye toward applying insights to our work.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 12 years of growth in creative roles within an advertising agency or similar setting, with at least 5 years managing and inspiring creative teams.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional team leadership skills, with a history of motivating and nurturing creative talent and inspiring cross-functional agency teams; people are genuinely excited to work with you.
- Integrated Campaign Creation: Deep experience creating and executing successful campaigns across current and emerging platforms that resonate with audiences through digital, social, and traditional.
- Video Content Creation: Proven experience in video content creation, including storyboarding, art direction and design, tailored for digital and social media campaigns.
- Client-Centric Mindset: Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach to creative work, capable of understanding client needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Pitching Success: Strong new business acumen, with experience leading pitches and presenting complex concepts in an engaging, client-centric manner.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for presenting complex ideas clearly.
