We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a General Manager. This is a ground level opportunity for you to grow with us as we launch our new fitness studio in Stanwood, WA! Our ideal candidates have previous sales experience, strong interest in helping others feel and look their very best while benefiting from rewarding performance based commissions and bonuses. Candidates should personally lead a healthy lifestyle and have a personal passion for fitness. Additionally, strong knowledge and use of all social media outlets for advertising and promoting the brand is expected.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the HOTWORX Stanwood studio, including meeting sales goals, scheduling, staff management, and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining a welcoming and positive atmosphere, addressing member inquiries and concerns, and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive membership growth, including implementing sales and marketing initiatives, conducting community outreach, and fostering partnerships with local businesses.
- Recruit, train, and supervise a high-performing team of training sales associates.
- Monitor and analyze studio performance, including revenue, attendance, and member retention, and implement strategies to achieve business goals and targets.
- Use online platforms and software for customer relations management processes, POS systems for membership sale, billing and collections as well as for email and texting campaigns.
- Maintain a clean and safe facility by overseeing maintenance, cleanliness, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
- Foster a positive and motivating culture within the studio, promoting teamwork, employee engagement, and professional development.
- Social Media Expert: Utilize social media and all other marketing and advertising media to engage members and the community and to help grow the member base and brand awareness daily.
- Prepare reports, budgets, and financial forecasts, and work closely with the ownership team to meet financial and member satisfaction metrics.
- Uphold and enforce company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and consistency across all operations.
Qualifications:
- Passion for fitness, health, and wellness.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- high school diploma or equivalent.
- Sales Experience: 1-2 years
- Supervising Experience: 1-2 years
- Customer Service: 2 years (preferably in the fitness or wellness industry)
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Additional Compensation:
- Monthly sales commission and bonuses
- Annual bonus based on studio performance
It is a salaried position (base commission bonuses), so you control what you earn.
