We are a growing furniture brand dedicated to delivering high-quality, stylish, and unique pieces to our customers. Our e-commerce store, built on Shopify, is at the forefront of our sales strategy, and we are seeking a showroom and trade manager to assist customers through their purchasing journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Showroom Management:
- Conduct daily visual inspections to ensure the showroom is well-maintained, clean, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Handle light physical tasks, such as arranging furniture or packages (up to 40 lbs) to maintain showroom appearance.
- Water and monitor the health of showroom plants.
Customer Service:
- Act as the first point of contact for walk-in customers, providing expert guidance on product selection and showroom furniture.
- Answer and manage customer service inquiries via email, phone, and live chat (Shopify, Gorgias).
- Address and resolve customer issues, complaints, and follow ups with customers and designers.
Order Management:
- Process and fulfill accessory orders via Shopify, ensuring accurate shipping methods and timely dispatch.
- Create shipping labels using Rollo software and manage USPS pickups.
- Monitor unfulfilled accessory orders and coordinate with fulfillment teams to ensure smooth processing.
Trade Program Management:
- Review trade applications and verify tax-exempt documents (e.g., seller’s permits and resale certificates).
- Communicate with designers and trade professionals to ensure applications are complete and provide support as needed.
Internal Communication:
- Collaborate with co-founders, the delivery team, and the fulfillment team to align on priorities and resolve issues.
- Respond promptly to emails, voicemails, and messages from internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in high-end retail, furniture sales, or customer service.
- Proficiency in Shopify and Gorgias (or similar platforms).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset.
