Job Description:
A family of three in Washington, D.C., is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented full-time housekeeper to join their household team in Kalorama Heights. This household is staffed with an additional full-time and part-time housekeeper, so the ideal candidate must work well in a team, be flexible, and bring an organized, uplifting presence to the home.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed cleaning of all rooms and surfaces.
- Change bed linens and ensure bedrooms are maintained to a high standard.
- Handle laundry with care, including folding, organizing, and light ironing.
- Vacuuming and general upkeep of floors.
- Prepare easy, family-friendly meals on Fridays and Sundays when the other housekeeper is off (follow recipes as needed).
- Communicate and coordinate with household staff to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Maintain an organized approach, anticipating family needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar housekeeping role within private homes.
- Ability to follow and adjust to specific cleaning routines with meticulous attention to detail.
- Reliable and consistent with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare simple meals.
- Positive, pleasant demeanor and a team-oriented approach.
- A self-starter who is highly organized and always one step ahead.

Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
- Friday: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
$35 to $40/hour
