Description
General Summary:
Reports directly to the Production Supervisor or Assistant Production Supervisor for shift assigned. Is required to be at station on time, well groomed, and in company approved attire. Shall maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times. Will immediately notify Supervisor of any equipment malfunction or safety issues. Will perform their duties timely and safely while following all company policies and procedures. Must wear company supplied radio at all times during shift. Any tools, equipment, or other company property must be put back in its proper place when finished. Any company property damaged or missing must be reported to the Supervisor immediately.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Keep all lanes full with correct product.
2. Fix any jams or discharge failures in a timely manner.
3. Keep area clean including plastic wrap, paper, cups, and other trash. Sweep and mop areas as needed or at a minimum, weekly.
4. Pick up breakers, give a count to the supervisor, and transport to the proper location. Do not leave breakers in aisles or on pallets.
5. Keep pallets level by removing product a layer at a time. Do not stair step product.
6. When discharges are finished report to supervisor for other assignment.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Assist with loading trucks, returns, or other areas as needed.
2. Assist with other projects as needed.
Qualifications
Job Specifications:
1. Effective communication skills including over 2-way radios.
2. Dependable, hard working, and on time consistently.
3. Proficiency in equipment operation and product identification.
4. Physical ability to safely climb ladders and conveyors for turned, damaged, or jammed cases.
5. Capable of simple math.
