Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist II

This role is for an experienced and fully competent Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist II who will assist physicians with highly specialized and complex interventional and therapeutic radiologic procedures in the Cardiac Catherization Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with peripheral and coronary angioplasty, stents, rotablators, artherectomy, laser, and coronary ultrasound; electrophysiology procedures including ablations and device implantation.
• Actively participate and scrub into Cath Lab cases to assist with the movement and alignment of equipment as well as the control of radiation throughout procedures.
• Serves as a mentor to Cath Lab Rad Tech I's, Cath Lab RN's and students by utilizing skills and knowledge to help train and educate others.

This job requires strong interpersonal and team player skills with all levels of the healthcare team and assures delivery of excellent customer service to all patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers.

This position also requires flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain composure during emergency situations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to provide clear and concise information to patients and colleagues.
