We are seeking an experienced, professional and dependable title examiner who has an understanding of title insurance rules, regulations and requirements. You must possess excellent customer service, teamwork and communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environment. Our examiner must pay close attention to detail, use logical thought processes while problem solving, be able to prioritize work and adapt to changing work requirements.
Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Examine title searches
- Identify title issues and provide resolution and direction to our team members
- Work directly with underwriting counsel to resolve issues
- Discuss title insurance issues with customers
- Issue final title insurance policies
Other knowledge, skills and abilities required are:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- A minimum of 5 years recent title examination experience is preferred
- Michigan Title Insurance Agent License
