Are you detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and ready to join a growing financial services team in Tampa? We’re seeking a CIP Analyst to help safeguard our client onboarding and AML controls through accurate identity verification and regulatory compliance.
What you’ll do ✨
- Perform Customer Identification Program (CIP) verifications for new and existing clients.
- Review and validate identity documents and supporting information (SSNs, IDs, passports, utility bills).
- Escalate and investigate potential discrepancies, watchlist hits, and PEP/Sanctions matches.
- Maintain clear audit trails, case notes, and documentation to support regulatory exams.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, and Risk teams to refine processes and reduce false positives.
- Support periodic reporting and quality reviews to ensure program effectiveness.
What we’re looking for
- 1–3 years’ experience in CIP, KYC, AML, or related compliance roles (financial services preferred).
- Strong knowledge of CIP requirements and ID verification best practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, investigative mindset, and strong written communication.
- Comfortable using case management or screening platforms (e.g., World-Check, LexisNexis, Firco).
- Ability to work in-office 3 days/week at our Tampa, FL office (hybrid schedule).
- Associate’s degree or higher; compliance certifications (CAMs, ACAMS) a plus.
