JOB SUMMARY
Acts as the primary sales contact for customers on commercial issues. Responsibilities include development of long-range planning budget with group sales, forecasting of anticipated product requirements and overall management of customer orders.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Supervise Sales and Production Planning teams; this includes planning and holding meetings, preparing and conducting performance appraisals, managing staffing levels (including vacations, overtime and leaves of absences), assisting with career development (motivates, coaches and trains to acquire maximum quality, productivity, morale and cooperation), approving time and attendance, and prioritizing and making work assignments.
Forecast and analyze sales.
Assure compliance with contracting requirements.
Actively participate in development and renewal of business strategy.
Manage all quote activity considering cost, price, market, competition.
Maintain contact with customers, account managers and sister plants.
Prepare budgets and various sales / marketing reports.
Responsible for import, export ASAT compliance
Follow policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook.
Serve as Export control technical liaison ensuring compliance.
Machining and finished parts representative for corporate growth initiatives.
Supports plant sales representatives in resolving sensitive commercial issues.
Assumes lead role on matters of significant financial implications.
Actively participate, promote and comply with all EHS programs and policies.
Familiarity and compliance with corporate and plant protocols including EHS, SOX, Ethics of business conduct, ABS, ASAT, ISO, and export control.
Perform all other job duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering
A minimum of 7 years of experience in Engineering/Sales.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous program manager experience is preferred.
