Howmet Aerospace, Wichita Falls, Texas is seeking a Outsource Supervisor for 1st shift. The Outsource Supervisor is required to follow all Howmet Aerospace safety regulations, policies and all department specific requirements. The Supervisor will direct, manage and motivate employees that are assigned to the outsource department and ensure all outsourcing activities are properly scheduled and production flow is maintained. The Supervisor will be responsible tor interfacing with Planners, HDM personnel, other plants and outsourcing companies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITES

• Manage activities related to packing and verifying out plant operations.
• Proficient in excel and other office suite programs.
• Gather product and materials that will be sent to outsourced suppliers.
• Ensure packing lists (including import/export documentation) are completed correctly.
• Type correspondence, memos, reports, shipping documents – includes, data entry.
• Management of inventory movement activities.
• Communicate with internal/external customers as needed.
• Coordinate production planning activities with Outsource Providers.
• Maintain files and records.
• Must be able to communicate well across all levels of the organization – internal/external.
• Communicate Quality and Labor standards.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to gather, pack, and transport required materials for shipping.
• Complies with all EHS rules related to the work environment.
• Set up training process for new employees
• Other duties as assigned.
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste
• High degree or work hour flexibility and overtime to make shipments.

Must be able to work off-shifts and weekends as needed.

Basic Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1 years leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder') Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience supervising in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with TPM, Synchronus Mfg, and Kaizen Concepts
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, have good team building skills, excellent people skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, technically oriented.
• Must be energetic and a self-starter, able to promote and implement change, have good PC skills, good telephone skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to promote a continuous improvement atmosphere.
