Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage technical architecture analysis, design, build, test and deploy for SAP systems
• Advice on technical approach for all systems integrating to SAP and manage 3rd party dependencies related to the SAP environment
• System landscape design and management experience in operations and project scenarios
• SAP Migration expertise on AWS and Azure
• SAP Run expertise with public cloud
• SAP Upgrade experience
• Plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedule
• Involved in planning and testing of the DR
• Deep understanding of SAP best practices on Backup and Recovery
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Implementation, upgrade and support of the latest SAP systems versions, running on Windows/Linux OS and HANA/Sybase/Oracle/SQL Server DBs
• Hands-On experience as a BASIS administrator
• Provide leadership for troubleshooting and system performance initiatives
• Advance knowledge of AWS/Azure and GCP
• Communicate project status, issues, and risks timely to all stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and managers
• Help manage Change Control, Issues, and Risks to ensure timely implementation of projects, including carrying out risk assessments, identifying project roadblocks, and driving mitigations/solutions
• Work with technical and non-technical teams, including Customer Support, Professional Services, Product Management, Engineering, and QA teams for efficient and effective resolution of project issues and escalations
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of standards, processes, and best practices
• Strong writing, mentoring, decision making, and communication skills
• Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear concise, and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers, and team members
• Provide oversight and leadership to the team. Coach to clarify assignments and deliverables to the team; review the quality of work and manage the integration of team members’ work
• Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations utilizing strong influencing skills coupled with technical expertise for multiple capabilities. This includes strong problem solving, cross-functional leadership, and conflict resolution
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree plus 12 years of experience or master’s degree, plus 7 years of experience
• SAP Basis experience and Understanding of SAP best practice
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• A high standard for work ethic and quality is required
• Experience working with highly technical teams
• A clear understanding of business process requirements as well as cloud technical requirements for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS technologies
• Strong analytical as well as organizational skills with an ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to manage and shift priorities quickly and effectively when needed
• Contributes independently, resolves complex issues
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to deliver high-quality deliverables
• Contributes actively to build common ground for cooperation
