What are the responsibilities and job description for the Texas Survival Final Inspector position at Hrd Aero Systems Inc?

Job Summary: Under general supervision this position will perform final inspections of survival equipment to ensure compliance with all FAA regulations and OEM specifications and procedures.
Responsibilities: Ensure that all maintenance, repairs, test, and inspection tasks are accomplished in accordance with the OEM specifications, ensure that no defective and/or unapproved parts or materials are utilized on any article, confirm that the work order traveler has been initialed for inspection at each step in the overhaul process, when applicable check DOM and testing requirement of squibs, verify cylinder contains hydrostatic retest stamp, and that stamp matches all documentation, conduct final inspection of unit upon completion of overhaul, approve or rejects unit to return to service, complete documents and forms applicable to the work task, reconfirm customer requirements for 8130-3 instructions, attach 8130-3 / tear down reports to unit, take photo of final assembly of the unit and upload to server, carry out duties in accordance with QCM/RSM written procedures, maintain working area in an organized and neat condition, observe and follow all safety rules and policies, maintain an acceptable level of productivity.
Requirements: Must have experience as required in accordance with 14 CFR part 65, must be able to carry out duties with detail and thoroughness, displays a good-natured cooperative attitude, ability to read, write & understand English, basic math skills, moderate physical strength, an eye for detail, ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals, ability to see details at close range, proficient with Computer skills and ERP Programs, need to be certified under part 65, hold and maintain repairman certificate. High school diploma or equivalent, 2 year of experience working in a shop environment.
Physical Demands: The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; the employee will intermittingly sit; frequently use hands to, handle, grasp, squeeze or feel; Reach with hands and arms; see, talk and hear. Occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
