Transactional Franchise Attorney
The leading western suburban law firm has an immediate need for a transactional franchise attorney to join its Franchise Law Practice Group.
This is an ideal position for a candidate who wants to develop their franchise law practice within a collegial environment. We are looking for someone who has the ability and desire to immediately manage a base of existing franchise clients independently and responsibly in collaboration with the team of attorneys in the Franchise Law Practice Group, which consists of myself and 3 other attorneys. The focus of our practice is representation of franchisors, although we do represent some local franchisees.
Candidates must be admitted to practice in the State of Illinois. The firm’s office is located in a suburb of Chicago. This is not a remote position.
Qualifications
- Experience representing franchisors preferred
- Experience representing franchisees a plus
- Other transactional business law experience a plus
- Experience with and desire for direct client contact
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented; excellent organizational skills
- High level of commitment to high quality work products and service to clients
